Put loose change in a container for savings

Turn lights off in rooms you’re not using

Be thrifty but not tight

Give to charities or causes that align with your purpose or beliefs

Buy things on special if they're things you always buy

Buy things in bulk if you use a lot of them

Keep receipts for as long as you might need them

Return ten percent to God

Buy things from roadside stalls

Shop to a list

Wait to see if you really do want something

Hold off on impulse buys if you have even a bit of doubt

Spend less time in shops

Be frugal not frivolous

Give change to buskers if you appreciate their work

Keep an updated will and have someone who knows where it is

Have money meetings with people you share your funds with

Pay bills before they're due and as early as you can

Food shop when you’re not hungry
